Support our March-A-Thon!
On Saturday October 3rd, from 8am to 12pm, all students will be participating in one final rehearsal before competition season. During the week prior to the event, students will seek donations from friends, family, neighbors and even local businesses. Donations can be per minute or a flat donation. The money earned will be collected by the students and placed into the general band fund to offset costs for the marching band season such as instruments, instructors and transportation.
· Example 1: If Grandma Mary decides to donate $0.10 per minute towards the March-A-Thon and the March-A-Thon is 4 hours long, then Grandma Mary will need to give you $24 ($0.10 x 240).
· Example 2: If your Uncle John wishes to donate a flat amount of $50 then Uncle John will need to give you $50.
Prior to the Event - Collecting Donations:
· Money must be collected and turned in by the start of the March-A-Thon in order to count for any incentive.
· We can accept cash(coins count as cash), checks or credit cards. All checks should be made out to the IBCF. Credit card and PayPal donations can be made below:
